The line 76 connected until 2011 the districts Bremen-Vegesack and Bremen-Blumenthal [Rönnebeck]. Together with the line 75, they made sure that the people from Blumenthal came without change to the Vegesacker train station, the water tower or the shopping center "Haven Höövt". For about 13km long distance, it took about 30min. Alternating with the 75 a 10 min clock between Vegesack and the depot Blumenthal, on the Ermlandstrasse. Both lines drove to interesting places: the shopping center Haven Höövt directly at the Vegesacker Weser, the Gustav-Heinemann-Bürgerhaus, the Klinikum Bremen Nord, the Blumenthaler station, but also the water tower in Blumenthal / -Lüssum. With the change in the line network North in December 2011, both lines were discontinued.
