This map mod adds a southerly entrance into the city of London.
It replaces Ver 1.0 which owing to a technical error (OK, I messed up!) did not contain the extra roads added by Sparky. This version definitely does. I have made no alterations to them at all.
Anyone who tried the first version will note that I've dispensed with the cloverleaf junction between the M3/M25. The dual-carriageway into the city now has its own junction just south of that intersection.
For version 3.0 I am looking at doing a similar job with the M2/M25 interchange to offer a route into the city from the south east. As it is possible though, that SCS may well be publishing a patch and updated map when the download version of the game is released, it makes sense to wait for that now as, owing to the limitations of the editor, it doesn't seem possible to merge data from one map to another. This means that any mods made by Sparky, me or others will be rendered obsolete.
Any comments are welcome.
To use this mod just place the SCS file into your UKTS mod folder which by default is inside your My Documents/UK Truck Simulator folder. If you are already using Sparky's map mod I suggest you move that to a backup folder. If for any reason you are not happy with this mod you can delete and replace it with your backup.
