Welcome to the OMSI 2 Add-on Iveco Urbanway – Hybrid Series – 12 m & 18 m, a DLC that puts you behind the wheel of two modern city buses designed for smooth driving and enjoyable day-to-day operation in OMSI 2. The pack is built on an Urbanway setup inspired by vehicles used in the Paris area, while openly embracing gameplay-focused, streamlined design choices.
Two buses included
This DLC features two complementary variants:
Iveco Urbanway Hybrid 12 m (standard): a 2-door version, ideal for typical urban routes and regular service.
Iveco Urbanway Hybrid 18 m (articulated): a 4-door version for high-demand lines, with realistic articulation behavior and a large capacity feel.
Each bus is tuned to offer distinct handling and capacity, giving you variety across your network.
Series-hybrid powertrain
Both versions use a series-hybrid architecture paired with an Iveco Tector 7 engine. This delivers the typical character of urban hybrid buses:
progressive, linear acceleration,
smooth driving suited to frequent stops,
a modern urban traction feel.
The goal is a credible yet comfortable driving experience, whether in dense traffic or on faster sections.
Equipment and operation
For OMSI 2 operations, the DLC includes:
Krueger++ compatible destination displays for easy configuration on any map.
INEO v1 assistance/operation system to create a coherent driver environment without excessive complexity.
Setvars and customization
The buses include several setvars described in the manual, letting you adjust different parameters to suit your preferences or map requirements. These options make it easy to vary configurations in service.
Simplicity and deliberate design choices
The DLC intentionally focuses on core driving features and does not include:
no onboard ticket sales or change-giving system (no sales on board),
no passenger information banner,
no TFT screens.
These elements are missing by deliberate design choice, keeping the buses clean, lightweight, and driver-oriented rather than aiming to reproduce every real-world feature.
DLC now free
Previously sold on the NEROSY store, this pack is now free of charge. The original files were returned by “Nsm63s_” and then repacked by NEROSY for a clean and accessible release.
